Let’s see, what can I say about myself that will make you want to pick up the phone and call me for a discovery chat?

Eons ago I worked in London in the marketing department of a well-known national and international news media company for over 5 years. It was fast and exciting, and above all highly competitive.

Fast forward another 17 years, and still working in London, I’d realised a varied career in traditional and digital marketing and business management across several industries, from publishing to finance to distribution to law to construction.

Somewhere in the middle of all that I started using social media, firstly on a personal level then, as technology developed, integrated into business marketing strategies.

When I returned home to Australia in 2014, I worked as a PA, then as the BDM for an engineering consulting firm in Brisbane, managing the social media, website and quality assurance.

Three years into that job I set up my virtual assistant business, working part-time in the evenings at home, after putting in a full day at the office.

One year later I had enough clients onboard to start working for myself so I took the leap of faith.

Since then I have worked with a number of diverse clients and businesses, some on short term contracts and others as a regular business partner.

Three years has now passed since I took that first step. My business has evolved and grown….and, I’m still learning such is the fast pace of the ever-changing face of social media marketing.

 

What I can do for you and how much it will cost…

I work with small and medium sized businesses, in various industries, who have been operating for at least three years. During that time they’ve literally been doing it all themselves and are now reaping the benefits of a steady income, a solid client base and feel they deserve some ‘me’ time balance in their lives.

Often, the first thing that comes to mind is outsourcing their social and digital marketing. This can be nerve-racking but they understand that something has to give if they don’t want to burn out.

This is the gap that I fill.

As a professional and experienced freelance marketing person I am able to work alongside my clients fulfilling an important role on a daily, weekly and monthly basis ensuring their social media presence and email marketing is tickety-boo.

From setting up your social media accounts for all of the relevant platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest to raising your online presence through creative content, a bespoke marketing strategy and monthly analytic reports, I can help your business gain more traction, engagement and exposure online.

Below is a list of the social media and digital marketing skills I offer which you can utilise to suit your own needs:

Social media – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn: from setup to managing and analysing performance reports

Email marketing – ActiveCampaign and MailChimp: from set up of automations, newsletter campaigns, managing the backend, audience lists and performance reports

Content marketing – Content writing, Canva graphics, blogs, social media posts, infographics, Facebook and Instagram stories, IG Reels, IG Guides and Insight performance reports

Video marketing – IGTV, IG Reels, Facebook videos, YouTube videos, Camtasia and other video editing tools,

Project management – minimum 10 hour blocks purchased

Rates & Costs

Depending on your needs I will quote you a fixed price based on the various skills that apply for the work required

I do not work for less than 2 hours per week for regular ongoing work

I will consider doing occasional ad-hoc work for clients though this may incur a slightly higher rate

Billing is in 15 minute increments and invoice is either every four weeks, or on completion of short-term contracts

My rates start at $50 per hour for social media management to $70 per hour for a project management task with a minimum of a 10 hour block
